Disability Workforce Support Project

Using a co-design approach, we are building a toolkit and training that will strengthen the capacity of health professionals and disability support workers to respond effectively to people with a disability who have experienced sexual assault.

We are aiming at:
+ promoting awareness of the prevalence and impact of sexual assault on people with a disability
+ building knowledge of person-centered, trauma-informed care
+ improving the confidence of the workforce to support victim/survivors
