We are achieving this by:

  • Exploring the barriers that exist for culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) and marginalised community members (including seasonal workers and temporary visa holders) that make it difficult for them to report sexual violence and prevent access to sexual health and wellbeing support services.
  • Connecting with these community members to understand the gaps that exist in service delivery, information provision, training and resources.
  • Collaborating and co-designing resources through stakeholder engagement, working groups and collaborative sessions.
  • Enhancing the capacity of Migrant Resource Centre North (MRCN), Laurel House and other service providers to offer informed, inclusive and accessible services (remote delivery) for all community members.
For more information contact Laurel House on 6431 9711.
