Conversation Cards
Laurel House’s Conversation Cards aim to help people talk about things like sex, relationships, consent, sexual assault or violence. Talking about these things can be hard or feel uncomfortable, but it can help to stop sexual abuse and violence by helping people to talk about things that happened to them or to ask for help.
This section of our website provides more information and resources linked to the card topics so you can continue having conversations and learn more.
Please note:
- The cards are for people to use with other people they trust and feel safe with.
- Discussion of these topics can prompt people to disclose (share), talk about or think about abuse or violence that has happened or is happening to them.
- If the conversations are upsetting for anyone involved or lead to someone telling you about abuse, or giving you the ‘I want to have a conversation’ card, we’re here to help.
